Locality

Our group companies are significant employers and community members in their localities. For over seven decades, we have grown from our roots in Ilomantsi to become an international player, with operations now extending to five European countries – Ireland, the United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Most of our employees live either in the locality where we operate or nearby.

It is important to us that these localities remain vibrant. This vitality is created by functional services, diverse recreational opportunities, and a pleasant environment. By paying our taxes where we operate, we benefit both our employees and the entire community.

We invest in and develop our factories, which employs local contractors and indirectly creates new jobs, thus promoting the vitality of the area. Employing young people is a matter close to our hearts. We offer summer jobs, internships, and thesis placements to local young people, and we strive to employ them after graduation whenever possible. Sustainability is at the core of our operations, guiding us to build a sustainable future together with our community.
